B-29 Download

After downloading the B-29 into CFS3 The plane show's up fine. Problem is; When adding bombs, the plane explode's and burns in front of the hanger. What gives? Am I missing something here? I am new to CFS, So any help would be appreciated. Thanks
 
What is this AV History weapons pac? I have seen it elsewhere,and do not know about it.

You need the AvHistory WepPak to use any of the AvHistory aircraft or you will get CTD's.:kilroy:

but if I read your post right, the aircraft shows up alright, but only blows up after you add bombs? If the aircraft displays properly without a bomb load then the Airbase Fix will not help.

However, the Airbase Fix is an essential add-on for the heavy bombers like Lancaster, B29, Condor, Halifax etc. Get it at:- http://avhistory.org/communityserver/files/folders/utils/default.aspx
 
Thanks for the info., crew. Now, when I select the B-29, I get kicked out of CFS. I'm lost now...lol. The XML File goes where? I have dropped it into the aircraft file's, Is this correct? Hope you all can help here. Please forgive the newbee!

Hi Radialhead

What .XML files are You referring to ? Usually they are the type of files associated to missions.

when I open the zip file there is a XDP File next to the B-29 Folder. I am not sure what to do with it!.
 
If it is an xdp file and there isn't one in the b29 folder inside the aircraft folder then it belongs (in the B29) folder.
 
Check out the download of this aircraft on this site. It's in the CFS3 Section. let me know if you have any problems. Thanks
 
Hello Radialhead,
Not sure what the extra XDP file is for but you can use that one or just leave it alone and use the one that is included in the aircraft file.

Did you install the AvHistory WepPak yet? You need this to use the aircraft.
 
Hi, Yes I installed the WEPAC and the utility to move the B-29 away from the hanger and none of it is working correctly. I have got to be missing something here. The plane still explode's and burst's into flames and when I try to load armament I get kicked off CFS3 all together and get an error on the screen. I'll just keep trying until I get it right. Be talking at ya
