• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

Virtavia's recent update of their B-29 to v1.1 has prompted me to start a repaint that I've been meaning to do for a while.

Still a WIP but getting there slowly.

Beautiful repaint but I had the strange feeling I had seen that plane somewhere before then it dawned on me my desktop.



 
Very nice repaint!

If I ever get my computer working again, the B-29 will be my first purchase.

JUst purchased the Virtavia B-29 Superfortress on PCAviator.com for $15 (50%+10% discount) last night.
I've been "eye-balling" this bird for about a year now (after seeing "fifi" at an airshow), and the price was just too good to pass up.

I found other repaints online, including "fifi". I would love to add your repaint to my hangar as well.

In the mean time I am working my way through the manual.

As said by others, the repaint is looking very nice.
