B24 for cfs 3-Freeware?

Yes there was, it was the "D" version. Luca had started one, but got distracted by Elizabetta Cannalis' website, and never got back to it,lol

The right name is Elisabetta Canalis and now Luca has a big competitor in the person of George Clooney :icon_lol::icon_lol:.

Yeah, I've seen a few screenies of the 24 that Luca was working on. A very good-looking bird, with great modeling on it!
But, never heard anything more on it. That model would be a great builder, even adding in a J model, using the bulk of the D build.
I've got a copy of the FSDS model, but it's really too basic. For gmax, probably better just to start new.
 
When Luca sent me a photo of what he had been doing with the B24, his pic was from Gmax. He didn't have a 3 view of it in the background, it was a pic of Elisabetta,lol

I do not wish to fuel a pointless debate - IMHO, it is most ridiculous to sue someone over a 3D model of an aircraft that has been out of production some 60 years (BTW, it would be good payback if the French descendants of the ones that did the Statue of Liberty prohibited the portrayal of it in any form, if they would hold the rights to the design. Just to show how ridiculous the whole concept is. These aircraft are icons of an era long gone but not forgotten and now we can't build one?) - but this guy is offering a payware version, right? Why then isn't he sued by Lockheed's moneysharks?
 
I can ask Pietro if it's ok with him to share the source file since the B24 was a joint project between him and me. Any takers?

Current status is external model 90% built, missing only front gear bay, front gear animation and internals. No mapping as of yet. It's a good model...and if I say so myself...LOL

Certainly Ted, Steve, and John would be likely candidates to refine this "Model". Although not sure how their wives may react to the news. .)

Have to say that the model in that picture looks better every time I see it.:ernae: The B24 doesn't look bad either.

Yes Luca, it has been a while! Good to see you around here, don't see much of you or Alx anymore. How are the studies going at the University?

I haven't been up to much except trying to keep that old Rock Star, Mathias, out of trouble,LOL Its a big job, might need some extra help with that!:bump:

Studies are going quite well mate, almost done with them! I've been around here for quite sometime now, but I tend to keep quiet.
Would love to join you in helping Mat, but I've yet to find a reason to fly and like FSX with no weapons...:engel016:
 
LOL, I mean really keeping him out of trouble!!! I don't own FSX either, if I want to fly civie stuff, I'll reinstall FS9.

Glad your going to graduate soon, I imagine your family will be proud of you. Wish I could be at your graduation, but doubt I would see you. All those pretty Italian young ladies would have my eye on them anyway,LOL

It will be good to finally see the B24 finished, its been a long time since I've seen it and Elisabetta together!!:icon_lol:
