@Nachtpiloten - Is it OK to make some skins for these and release them here at SOH?

Hi Ted,

I have downloaded them, great work mate. I have been tinkering around a bit as you know with some extra's that others might be interested in.

an idea started by vogelscheuche and taken a bit further by myself.

Skins

Guys, if you want to make more skins go ahead. John has a bunch laying around so maybe you should speak with him to avoid duplicates.

Great pics gentlemen, and Foo Fighter that is a very nice paint pic.... can't wait to see these elegant ladies in more skins, and she is a beautiful plane, thanks again Nach wonderful addition. Now I can finally maybe fly the Lady Be Good, I can still remmeber when she was found in the desert and what a sad but exciting hunt it was to hear about them searching for the crew all of whom but one were found.

Ted discounted this early on for good reasons, they were only used briefly as they had operational issues and once rockets were in use they were redundant. Also his CC Lib is the GRIII. The Cannon mounted Libs were on the GRI. I am not the modeller so any decisions are Ted's.

While the wrinkles are being ironed out on the GRIII I intend to create a small mission pack for it's release. Also I've asked John to make a skin for CC's Liberator VC Flying Officer Lloyd Allan Trigg VC DFC http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lloyd_Allan_Trigg. An award made more remakable due to his recommendation coming from the U-boat Captain he attacked!

That was a remarkable example of the comraderie between the services that pervailed far more than most realize, mutual respect and homour.

Thanks Beau btw ,for the wonderful resources hosted on your site, much appreciated.

G'day guys,

sending the files through to Greg for uploading at Regs as a pack, will include files for each of the B24's already posted at Reg's.

Also working on a Wimperis Coarse Setting Bomb sight for the coastal command versions, and a Nordan for the J series when done.

regards Rob.
