This is a great place to land here at SOH & the basement !
Just when you think you have a theatre set up just the way you want ,
the guys around here are always coming up with new ideas & new ways to improve on all of them.
You just never get done completely & to me that's the greatest thing about it.

Thanks for all the great info guys lots of stuff to take in, Unfortunately at the moment my hard drive space is a little limited but i will try and get a couple of good installs built up.

Ha Ha visiting europe shouldn't be too hard as I live about an hour and a half from London :) which is why I asked aboout the eto setup.

My tips on how improve European sceneries.

Europe

I installed McClelland UK sceneries.

I added Ian Elliot London upgrade and Mathias CFS1 airbases o my European Theater.

Then I added the European Coast line to my install.

I also install the BOB selfinstall scenery by Gary Bums.

I also went downloaded Simouthouse Europe Mesh at their backup site.

You can either install Sim-outhouse or Netwings sceneries Mesh. They both are of very good quality. Its up to you.

Last but not least I recommend you down load McClelland European Scenery for CFS2. Its a must if you really want to improve this program sceneries up to grade. With his sceneries you will not only have Cities and forest but also roads.

You must install this European Texure upgrade. Its the best one in my humble opinion.

You get a cities upgrade right here in this Web. It will not make the cities look more real from 1000 feet and below but it make them look better from 1000Ft and above.

I hate CFS2 clouds. Thanks to our members there are some new clouds available as well.You can get the one from Sim-outhouse call Stiz Clouds or LW clouds. Its you choice. I have install them both in different install that I have. You also download a new Sun.

I forgot Stiz European Water. This is also a must.

You can also add Seasonal Texutures at Avsim.
They are call cfs2hw.cfs2sp,cfs2su,scfswi,and cfs2fa.Look for them through the search engine at AvSim.Warning you will have to do it Manualy, but its real easy and lots of fun once you figure it out.

This are General upgrades. There are more specific area upgrades that are also available for you pleasure.

Do not forget that you can also fly over the Pacific and Asia as well through the same Sim. Its the only Sim that gives you this ability through a World Map.

On to the Pacific Theater.

as miami said, you can fly around the world without any extra installs.

Many of us have done so. There is even a refueling station on all the airbases add-on, so you do not have to park, shut down the sim and come back into it to refuel.

I seem to remember a couple of groups having a 'round the world race a couple of years ago..........might have been the 1% guys. Those guys are hardcore simmers. They have flight plans and rendezvous points and are as close to the real thing a gaming computer will allow. TOTAL SICKOS.:kiss:

I move to give TR's seat on the board of stooges to Fighterpilot. After all, TR's time is mostly being spent doing work on the idiocy committee. That is, of course, unless you are one of those boring people with a low IQ who insist that an internet forum should be strait-forward and focused on its advertised topic. . . Hmmmmmmm . . . tough choice . . . being boring, predictable, and normal, or . . . being creative, silly, productive, and entertaining.
