Well I finally got XP pro 32 bit running on my system. And I'm very happy that most of the issues I was having with running CFS2 under Windows 7 64bit are gone.
I decided to dual boot because I was getting tired of having to 'nerf' CFS2 just for it to run on Windows 7.
One issue I'm not having under XP is that I can't 'force anti-aliasing and have CFS2 work in fullscreen mode when getting in to the game. All I get is a black screen if I do. Its a card/video card driver issue and I haven't tried different drivers yet, and it 'possible' could be fixed by different drivers.
One work around I have found that seems to do well is starting the sim in window mode, then switching to full screen when I'm flying. I get the fullscreen in game just fine with AA and AF on.
It is a minor annoyance, but one I am willing to put up with after all the headaches I was getting with Windows 7. It made it to where I didn't even want to play CFS2.
