Backcountry Flying

Great work Ed! Looks like a very cool airfield to fly into!
Yep, this is apparently very popular Back Country destination for weekend fly-in and camp-out. The other one I plan on doing at some point is about 13 miles up the valley called Big Creek.

Looking good.

That looks like Johnson Creek (3U2) Idaho.

Will that be compatible with ORBX?

If so I'll be keen to test it.

Thanks.

Pete

Very nice and well done scenery! Many thanks.
Would be nice to see some more improved airfields this Idaho area.

Another nice Scenery from falson

Have taken a break from reinstalling a lot of scenery and aircraft and other necessities onto my recently freshly updated computer and found myself flying into and relaxing at Johnson Creek for a little while. I can almost imagine being there and trying a little fishing!

Haven't seen this in the scenery?

:dizzy:

Cees, the aircraft and the camping set up are a part of Flight Replica's Super Cub Ultra package. Over the years I've bought all the FR super cubs and all are very nice models.
Ah! Yep! I'm waiting for the March sale to lay my hands on the complete package. I suspected it was a FR plane.

Just trying out this very nice scenery today.

Unfortunately, I have an old issue re-appearing here - yes, the 'asphalt runway' - I suspect something to do with my REX Essentials. Have to investigate further.

The other oddity is the water in the immediate region of the airstrip seems a bit different color from that in more distant areas. Maybe something to do with REX again ? or photoscenery ? Black Pond Airstrip also shows similar water color differences, but more noticeable here. I will need to check on this further.
