"BAD DUCK" over Halavo Seaplane Base!

TuFun

Riveter
Thanks to Paul Domingue for his Grumman "Bad Duck" and Mark Schimmer's Project Solomon v.2

Thanks for the fun video !

I've just got to say though, if that was Alexey Samoshin's add-on Birch trees I saw on some low passes over that "tropical" island at around 2:25 on the elapsed time counter, someone needs to tell Al Gore we've got "global cooling" in FS ...to offset the trend in global warming ! :icon_lol:

Birch trees? :)

The islands are annotated with various default rainforest autogen :)
The group of trees with the large bright stem might be an eucalyptus tree from the default P3D vegetation library, I think.

Nice video!

On Al Gore: that won't change his opinion (some places are warming, some are cooling). Besides that, he invented the internet.

Cheers,
Mark

Hi Mark:

Thanks for that clarification; I had indeed misjudged the size and type of tree from the air (...looks like I need to spend some more time flying in different parts of the world rather than spending most of my free "FS" time making scenery in the PNW ! ) :redf:

BTW: Regardless of my having initially mis-identified a few autogen trees, I must also say that you've made some rather nice scenery there (...and elsewhere) ! :applause:

PS: I'm hoping Al Gore also invents a way to watch YouTube videos of FS over the internet with less pauses / timeouts ! :icon_lol:

A very nice video TuFun. It shows off the plane and the scenery very well. I do have one recommendation from a movie maker point of view. You might want to add a small amount of wind to the local weather so that the smoke rising from the ships doesn't go straight up.
