Barbarossa South

Gentlemen,

29 airfields of Barbasossa South are finished and tested by Rami since some time but the change of servers has prevented the upload so far.
If I can my way through the new upload process I am going to upload tonight or tomorrow.

Here are some pictures (if I can manage)

Cheers

Achim

PS: Next I am turning to the Med to redo those fields on the new mesh.

Whoo hoo! It'll be great to populate the Ukraine with new airfields.

Is it possible to make fall (Herbst) and winter textures from Sander's textures for the airfields? Can it be done with the MS paint program or is it something that needs to be done with a more powerful program? I like to use Rumbaflappy's seasonal textures, particularly winter and fall when flying over Russia.

Jagd,

Psullykeys was working on that. I'll ask him for you and see if something can be done. :wiggle:

Rami,

I think that just retextured texture file(s) for the texture files that come with the airfields would be great. That way they would overlay most seasonal textures and blend in with them without too much trouble.

I'm sure I could do it myself, but I'm all thumbs with MS Paint. If someone knows how and could post a little tutorial, that would be great.

OK, my first upload obviously went into thin air.

Can someone, please, explain how to do it step by step??????

Cheers

Uploads

Achim,

I haven't uploaded anything to the new site yet, so this is just speculation.

I'm sure you did the following:

1. Click on the "Add-Ons Library" link in the middle tool bar

2. Click on the "Upload" hot link

3. Describe the upload

4. Browse to the file's location on your computer and the upload.

Please try again and I'll ask the librarian to be on the look out for the package. Morton solved the mystery, so perhaps he has better insight to the problem than I do.

I made it

:jump:
What ever I did wrong the first time I don' t know but this time I was successful.
Barbarossa South is in the Add-ons Library

Cheers
