Would love to be on that water in an 18 foot bass boat, a cooler full of RC Cola on ice, my favorite graphite fishing rod and a tackle box full of lures. I bet there are some nice bass to be caught in those waters.

Barksdale’s East Reservation is a thickly wooded recreation and conservation area of nearly 18,000 acres. Both hunting and fishing are permitted on the reservation in season. Fishermen will find five lakes, 11 ponds and one bayou available to them. Bass, bream, catfish, perch and crappie abound. Boats and outdoor recreation equipment are available for checkout
