• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Basia. An old song, but still great.....

I wonder if it bothered the guy in the first vid that he had to wear a silly-looking hat??? :d
Have no idea who the girl is, but nice music.

I STILL can't get the hang of attaching Youtube links.....the old site was easier!!!

Every YouTube link has 11 digit, numbers, and symbols between the "=" and "&" right after "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v="

For example your Basia link is:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0N8z_zk_7PM&feature=related

So this is all you need: 0N8z_zk_7PM

Highlight
with the mouse then Copy those 11 characters.

Next, click on the red button on the toolbar.

The editor will insert
[ YOUTUBE][ /YOUTUBE] into the window.
(NOTE: I had to put a Space in at the start of the brackets for display purposes only)

Simply put your cursor between the two sets of bracketed codes, then Paste the 11 characters for the link:

[ YOUTUBE]0N8z_zk_7PM[ /YOUTUBE]

Now you have the link embedded in your post:

Easy Peasy. :wavey:

I liked "Cruising For Bruising" the first time I heard it and bought the CD as soon as it came out.

Both of those videos are from the same album "London Warsaw New York" (1989).

I just rotated CDs in my car and that's one of the ones that's been in there for the last month or so.

Don't get too good with the new way, NC; I can't find, let alone open the embedded links that are common here now. At least the way you did it, I can enjoy.

He (plays the keyboards for her and) wears it in other videos with her so I think it's his preference.

Great music. I had forgotten about her.

I wonder if it bothered the guy in the first vid that he had to wear a silly-looking hat??? :d
