Time for all to reload/play the latest CFS3 BoB install! BTW Clive, if you are doing any update, I have some mission and aircraft twerks that I could do.

I fought that battle many times in the Battle of Britain II sim (I was on the development team for a few years).
Taka Taka Taka!

Book recommendation: Stockpole Military History Series - Luftwaffe Fighters & Bombers "The Battle of Britain" ISBN 978-0-8117-0749-7

The series is written in a format that is best described by their motto "Real Battles. Real Soldiers. Real Stories."

It runs through each day's events as documented by the crews themselves, and matches up the reporting from both sides of each particular engagement.

So do I, I spent a lot of my time trying to get multiplayer to work properly. Every night I would hook up with one of the other guys and we would bash away trying to squash the bugs as fast they popped up. We only ever got MP working when played from the RAF side and only then on a few of the scenarios.

When it worked it was amazing but the code was so broken that every flight was ultimately doomed to failure. The original developers were using a MP code module that was known to be porked by Microsoft! MS abandoned it when they couldn't get it to work but that code remained inside BoB2 and there was no way to replace it so MP was never going to work unfortunately, no matter what we did. 😭

That sounds excellent. Might need to try to get a copy.
