Beaufort attack- There no Beaufort so had to use a Beaufighter.

A rainy morning as they attack with torpedoes and strafe.
 
it was the famous convoy that started from Rabaul and was headed to Lae to bring troops that was alomst destroyed? If I remember well, there wer 8 cargos and 8 destroyers and only 3 or 4 destroyers survived is that it?

That's right. It was attacked in bad weather at times also. It also proved the worth of skip bombing.

I'm interested Al...I just have to get around to dloading the PTO/RS stuff and install it all and right now I just happen to be pretty sick and not moving too fast...mid
 
9 missions are done with 1 to go. Right now I'm just waiting for the new B-17 that's setup to skip bomb.I got the new B-25 earlier this week for the skip bombing missions.
 
Those shots look terriific; not to mention the stunning weather effect with the Beau.: looks pretty real, there.
