I've just been looking at the Baytower forums and was delighted to hear that it should be finished in the next few weeks

In Danny's own words...

t's getting very close.
The tasks now mostly involve polish.
The flight model is effectively done, still there’s room for some refinements.
I need to revisit the paint kit to make it a bit more user friendly.
Also I’m putting together a flight manual.
And I’m putting the final plans in place on how to distribute the project.
I’m really anxious to get the RV out to you guys.

I’ll try to put together a few screenshots of recent work.
Most of it has been functional stuff…so it’s not so easy to put into pictures.
If all goes well it should be just a couple more weeks.

Outstanding! I've been waiting a long time for this and I think there's an RV-8 in the works too that looked awesome. Not sure where that one stands anymore.
 
I hope it's this week. Been waiting forever for this one. The repainters should have a field day!

The site is down. Could it be it is getting updated for an upcoming release? Is there an icon for "fingers crossed?" Hope so...

She's awesome......I got a small smile out of this plane just now. Its been a while since I had one....thank you BayTower...this was well worth the wait.

I've downloaded but not installed yet, I think that small smile you're referring to is called the "RV grin" that everyone seems to have after flying the real thing :d

Is anybody else having trouble registering at the Baytower forums? I still haven't received my activation email after 2 hours... :-(

Same here. . .I registered last evening and nothing yet this morning. (Yes I checked the Spam).:salute:

Falcon - I just saw that the RV-7 is out and went to the site. I registered in 2 minutes (got the registration email almost instantly).
 
Can someone post more VC shots? Is the GNS530 default or can it accept the RXP one? What about the possibility of the RXP GNS430W?

The whole interior looks to be rendered, but without textures. Are the textures just flat or are they actually textures?
