SOH-CM-2024
With the recent release of the Lancaster, I have done a lot of flying from Hamilton in Canada (home of CWHM), and RAF Coningsby in the UK, (Home of the BBMF). In each case these flying museums also have examples of my beloved DH Chipmunk. A few months ago, Jocko417 repainted the Aeroplane Heaven Chippy to represent the CWHM aircraft at my request (Thank you sir).
Now, I would like to suggest that a neat project would be to take one of the BBMF Chipmunks (WK518), and create repaints to represent the several colour schemes it has worn over its time at Coningsby. Yes, I know the black paint is already available for the other Chippy (WG486), but the alternate schemes these aircraft have worn are arguably (and subjectively) more attractive. Any takers just pay attention to the size of the roundels on the fuselage, the original examples in the release were a bit too big.
