Yes, you are correct I am using a lot of artistic licence. I Had to set up the station as a bombadier position so you can keep the aircraft on course while tracking. It's way too hard for me to do this going backwards. I do appreciate the feedback.

Hmmm! I wonder why I'm not getting those lit gauges. New ones in Clight folder and lines in xdp files.

I assume only the 1st 2 dds files are real as those are the only 2 I have.

The fact is that some gauges are showing, but not all.:dizzy:
 
They must be looking for a particular +Clight file that's missing if the feature is otherwise working. A check inside the cockpit m3d for the list of gauge files being used might help sort out the problem.
 
I did actually look there right at the beginning and all the ones you added were in the m3d; obviously not the clight versions themselves, but the daytime versions. I think I'll re install the Beaus in another install plus all the other bits and see what happens. I have already tried in my main 2!:banghead:
 
Flight stability in CtrlShft A and in F8

Has anyone else had serious yawing and some rolling when putting these Beaufighters in to Auto ( Ctrl + Shft + A) or when in the Navigator/Radar Operators spot (F8)? I compared with the FAA ETO Beaufighter which does not seem to have these issues. Trimming also was quite hard.

I am also having gain that dreaded white box cannon tracer issue.:banghead:

Auto pilot! :playful: usually this is a flight model issue. I rarely use this when developing the model so didn't experience it. I will fix this if I get it. Be sure that game on hard either 95% or 100% realism....I model for these settings only. Check guns in xdp. All guns should be AV history. On flight model - performance is correct to 1% so need to change the stability parameter...

Just put that on the list.
 
Auto pilot itself is not an issue, but having the issue when in F8 (or F7) is when trying to test the AI Mkiv Steve has done for the Beau. there is definitely some instability going on somewhere.:wiggle:

I will check the xdp and weapons, but this has been an issue since I believe some effects were changed a year or two back.

EDIT: Game setting always max realism!

Yep, need to adjust a parameter in the airfile. Will do so in a few days and let you all know....!
