Bear Studios Flanker repaints

With this update, once you've switched the 'limit' on the flight control computer, it will do a Cobra! :applause:

(It will also disintegrate when you pull 25G's from jerking the stick too hard though.... :gameoff: Found that out the hard way! :icon_lol:)

... The original flight dynamics (and with upgrades) looks too slow for the cobra, to me...
The control surfaces must be very reactive...
So I modified it to be able to execute the cobra. Between 150 and 250 knots, maybe more...

The aircraft has to get up almost immediately... The engines pass in front of, quickly...

What speed for you ?

Did you turn off the limit switch (It's located under the throttle)? Works fine for me at speeds around 240-250 kts.

Hi

Hi,

Can someone paint one in the colors of the Indian Air Force?

Thx!.

Hi Lenny... Zsolt Beleznay and Hanimichal did very beautiful skins, and I reworked two from ancient AI pack of Bear Studios... Why Indian ?

SU-27 FLANKER - AS BUILT IN SHENYANG CHINA

Really enjoying the recent download of this model. Liked Bear Studios MiG-17, but love this beautiful FLANKER. Cannot find a manual for it, anyone got one or can advise on where to get one from?

Be nice to see a MiG-19 in the circuit some day.

... The manual of J-11 Flanker's series is in the pack...And in the two upgrades...

The manual is in ..\Fs9\BearStudios. In here you will also find the cockpit selector to switch from Chinese to English labels.

BEAR STUDIOS AND THEIR GREAT FLANKER

SOLOBO and Ferry vO, tks for the quick response. Found the manual and the v important language switch. I was looking in the aircraft's folder instead of the very obvious Bear Studios folder in the main FS9 base folder. Silly me!

The more I fly this a/c the more I like it. Cannot think why the RAF did not buy a shed load instead of the penny packet of fantastically expensive Euros they ended up with that while quite capable of re-fighting the Battle of Britain at FL800, still cannot provide the boots on the ground with accurate laser or GPS guided bombing or missile support.

Still . . . . . what do I know, I'm only the tax payer.

They call it the Typhoon. Ha! more like a wet-fart (or wet-dream) for ageing Air-Marshalls.

Tks again guys

'pologies for the rant . . . . .
