Hello Chaps
I'm not completely clear of what happened, but firstly I'd run out of webspace. So I've upgraded my account and now have buckets of the stuff. Then all the images in the software had become disassociated. So when it tried to upload there was nothing to to upload. One answer was to trawl through the pages re-attaching the images. But that seemed too depressing, so I've reduced the site to it's CFS3 core (cutting away, but saving as a separate file, the historical stuff) and am rebuilding from scratch. This does have the advantage of allowing me to polish it up a bit and put in some new ideas I've had. The historical work will become a sub-site and will be uploaded separately. This will make it easier to manage and I will tidy that up too. It had become very sprawling and the navigation was becoming idiosyncratic.
I can now be philosophical and talk of silver linings, but at the time I was spitting feathers.
