Bernard Cornwell fans

Already seen it over here in the UK and it's pretty good but you can't beat the books. Sean beans starting to look too old to be scrapping with maratha's and I could've done without the kidneystone, you'll see what I mean.:icon_lol:

I enjoyed it. It turned into Seven Samurai at the back end. The most startling thing was seeing Sir Henry [almost] being decent. I missed what you meant about the kidneystones, but PBS may have cut out the scene you were talking about for time. I've noticed both them and BBC America doing that with the Sharpe movies.

I do agree that the books offer more depth and content.
