wots the best 109 out there?i got qite a few and none of them are any good.they either wont turn,or constantly stall.i cant imagine the bf 109 was this bad.even the su bf 109 stalls everytime you try and turn.i looks good, but wont fly.any help appreciated

The AH 109 is the best model for detail and looks, but for flying I find the MG BF109 e3 by Mauro to be the most usable. Also check out some of James grimes 109s .If you mix and match the odd air file you will come out with a great 109.

If your looking for a later model you cant(IMO) go past the PR Birds.

Let me tell my friend the Me109 is one of my favorite planes to fly with. I just love this plane!
It looks what a fighter should look like.

Once you look at it you immediatly know you are looking at a fighter. No its not as good looking as the Spitfire nor as easy to fly as a A6m2 nor a P51 but its a heck of a fighter. Its a good climber and a decent diving plane but with a poor turning radius.

It also had a very short range. It was more fragile than most Aviation Historian would tell us and it did not absurd a lot of damage very well. It was horribly difficult to land because of the poor visibility allow throght its cockpit.

It was upgraded many times but every upgrade made it a bit faster and better arm but a shorter range and greater inability to turn with its opponent and trikier to handle.

Its was not a very easy plane to fly and only those with great skill with it where able to exploit its advantage over it less expirience opponent.

It did not fly very well at higher altitudes where the B17 and 947 and P51 where flying in their Bombing and escort Missions.

What made the Me109 great was the great training the German Fighter got and their superior tactics they used at the begining of the War.

You see the Me109 was a good plane but it was not s Superiority plane. It was a mediocre plane that was flown by some of the best fighter pilots of WW2 that was made it look better than it really was. You see it may not bee its fly Air file after all.

Look in here and you will find some nice Me109 here http://myzone59.com/rebuffat/accueil.php
