Best Ground Enviroment

There are many titles around, just curious, because i would like enhance my fsx version especially for screenshots, which are the best ground or terrain enviroments?

i know about title as GEX, xgraphics or what a wonderful world...if someone know the answer i will appreciate, thanks.
 
GEX only replaces textures in the USA and Canada. The FTX AU series make for really nice screenshots, but right now, they are only for Australia.

XGraphics, FEX, and REX are mainly environmental upgrades and don't do a whole lot for the ground.

I enjoy the combination of GEX, UTX USA, REX (sky, sun, and airport textures only), FSGenesis USA mesh V2, and Active Sky X for most of my flights.

I can't wait for Super Ultimate Real Ground Weather Environment Extreme X V4... :costumes:
 
GEX doesn't affect FPS at all, in fact many people claim it increases FPS. I didn't get an increase, but it didn't bring them down at all either.

it depends on where you are flying. GEX messes European textures a bit, especially if you have some custom landclass for it (forest and city placing, etc.)

I believe the reason some claim it increases it is that they added less (ie strategically placed) autogen to their tiles which naturally would increase your performance.
