My favorite version of "Pipeline" is by Stevie Ray Vaughan and Dick Dale. It appeared in the Frankie and Annette movie "Back to the Beach". I think there's a clip of it on YouTube.

Yes, it is a good version....I remember going to town on Saturdays and seeing all those Frankie and Annette flicks, LOL!....I had to post the Ventures version since I remembered having that album as a kid. Once I finally got it down on the guitar, I really thought I was master of the universe. LOL!!

I've resurected this thread only because...... I've found one of the greatest guitar instrumentals, if not number one, ever played. I'm surprised no one has posted this......
