• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

There's a newbie over at the 'other' FS site that has a sealed one; he was asking questions about it. I told him to keep it sealed because it's 'rare'. If the $$ the guy on 'the Bay' is asking is what it's really worth then the bloke at the 'other' Site doesn't know what he's got. He was interested in actually loading it on his Computer; I dissuaded him from doing that and told him to go buy a 'used' Copy of CFS2 instead.

Speaking of which... I'm looking for a Copy of the original CFS2 Manual that originally came with the Game. :)

The post over at FlightSim was about one that was previously mentioned in this thread. The Gold version was a pre-release of the retail version and is virtually identical to the retail version. Unfortunately it's not the Beta version that we've been looking for (like the recent one at Ebay for mucho $$$).

As far as just the manual, I've seen it as low as $5 on Ebay. If you don't mind a PDF, you can check ReplacementDocs or Archive.org, pretty sure I've seen it there.
 
You should. If JMSbeta23 post on BetaArchive is right and the beta is more or less the same a retail with missions missing than it isn't worth much at all.
 
Also when you message the guy send him the old web.archive.org links a few pages back that shows the last time that the same beta CD showed up it failed to sell and couldn't even get a single $5 bid.

TheBookie has the Beta.He has all the old combat flight sims and some old windows computers so they work.He's away on business for a few more months.

It looks like it's gone. This is an Ebay business, so when it's sold it shows 'out of stock' not 'already sold' as the ordinary seller auction would do.
