Hello,
great action video - it may well be to survive for some time against so much Fokker D.VIIs, for their number is hindering themselves in getting a clean shot at you, but apart from some apparent good flying you have to be lucky indeed ...
I guess i would have flown on straight in my SE5, and get some distance between me and them, relying on the speed of the SE to get away straight and level at full speed - after all they had to turn to come at you, thus bleeding away speed - but i don't know whether the distance had been large enough then, after their initial turning, to not be able to shoot at you.
As well the upper wing of the SE looks as thin as it was, and not "blocky" at all - great!
The above is until i realized what is really going on here..
Really strange, i had to look CLOSE:
At first i thought "nothing new", a lot of the enemies developed trails of smoke without you shooting at them - were they being hit by Archie ? Did they ram themselves mid-air ? Then i thought lots of enemies crash into the ground without real reason ? And why do they not maintain altitude ?
E.g. at 1.50 one of the planes trails smoke, and looking behind you see it roll and crash - huh ? Then i realized it is a SE5 that crashes ! I am in a furball and did not even notice what was going on. God, this must have been hell indeed.
Only then i realized you were not flying alone, but it was almost impossible to see or distinguish enemies and friendlies in a blink of an eye. I had to stop the video, look at the markings and see what is really going on.
Considering the AI - it looks better than in P2, it certainly did in the videos of P3 before, but
Guess i will have to be really lucky to even survive some time under those circumstances ... what a sim !! Pol, this is beginning to frighten me ...
Greetings,
Catfish
