Bf-109 E-3 variant

Hello all,

Anybody knows if the AVH Bf-109 E-3 variant requires a seperate shared files to operate? I know Foute man produced a FS Bf-109 E shared files pack a while back, does it handle all Bf-109 E variants for CFS3?

If I were you, I'd use E-3 version of Luca's MAW E-4/7. It's in with the West '40 package (which got itself included in ETO.) It's miles ahead of the old Aeroplane Heaven one, which is the same model as the AvH and FS 109Es, and has a more recent flight dynamics file.

There is a shared file provided with the aircraft entitled 3_gr_kmb_shared. Perhaps that is what's missing.

As far as I can tell, the AvH Bf109e series are the James "korovamb" Grimes model, NOT the Aeroplane Heaven one used by Foute Man.

These are the correct shared files, BUT you may need to change the names. Open your _cockpit0.m3d with a hex editor, search for .dds, and see what comes up. Rename accordingly, remembering that you'll also perhaps have entries for the principal external textures (which you will recognise the names for in any case.) The cockpit textures will probably end with ...B_t.dds and ...B_s.dds, as here.

Thanks Nigel

I found the 3 gr KMB shared file for the aircraft, I'll try it first before I try your cockpit textures to see whats really up.

Thanks
