Your textures look fine with the AH 109 but I was wondering why I am losing so much detail with the default "Mickey Mouse" paint job that came with the plane. (see pics) One shot shows the plane in flight, the other shows the texture file in DXTBmp. Any suggestions to correct this?

I have a feeling this is some kind of video problem wih the used texture format. I have seen this on my computer too. I dont remember what format was used with the AH 109e, but try to save the texture file in 565 format and check. I have no idea why.

Morton, thanks for your response. The AH textures for the 109 are DXT3 16-bit for FS9 and DXT1 16-bit for CFS2. The default textures are blurred the same way when I select the plane in either sim. Tried converting them to several different formats in DXTBmp, including 565 like your skins, no improvement. Just one of those weird glitches I guess. Anyway your textures work fine so I'll use some of them, lots to choose from in your package. :)
 
On the stock AH 109 skins, resave the files with MIP MAPs turned OFF. Removing the Mip Maps will give you sharper textures from all angles and zooms.

Obio, you've really got this stuff down. :) Your mip map suggestion worked. I opened the fuselage texture in DXTBmp, resaved as DXT1 without mip maps, detail looks much sharper now. I'm going to replace Galland's Mickey Mouse mascot with a better graphic, also the JG26 "Schlageter" shield but otherwise I'll leave the default skin as is. Thanks for the help.
