....the feathered version.
I was able to get a snapshot of a hawk that settled behind my house yesterday morning. What alerted me to its presence were the sparrows in the trees going nuts.
Chirping, flapping, and generally making a huge ruckus.
When I realized why, I found my camera and very quietly opened the basement door and got a shot of it from there. Max zoom.
The color of its eyes really stood out against the bright light.
Not CFS2 related but just thought I'd share it. Personally I've never seen this bird up close. They're always hanging out at the top branches of the old elm trees.
