Birddog

I do. It's one of my favorite low and slow scenery check out airplanes.

nice job. I'd like to pick that up.

Still has one of the nicest looking VCs out there, IMO. I like it a lot.

I would really like to see a repaint of the Bird Dog in a civilian aluminum finish with realistic shine. That just occurred to me as I looked at my screen shot.

.... only taken over by the A2A C172 since its release. My first rubber-powered model aeroplane, from back in the early '50's, and I still reckon it's an all-time, good-lookin', nice flyin' bird! - and - yes, PRB - one of the best VC's out there - that's how a work-horse aircraft looks, and I'm hoping Jan's Dak cockpit will reflect the same look... (hint - hint :encouragement: ).

All the Best,

pj

actually, I just finished and uploaded it: you'll find it here. Perfect for New Zealand, where the original is flying.

Happy flying,
JK

Outstanding work, jankees! Thank you so much! You have made this old man very happy today. This is the way I remember seeing these amazing little planes back when I was a kid.

I just saw your age, jankees... No offense intended. I should have said "high mileage." :mixed-smiley-010:

It was reported over a year ago at the Sibwings website that there would be a Tundra version update for the Birddog. Hope they do.
The instrument panel on this plane is one of the best I've seen.
