Hi Ravenna

back in September I was minding my own business when you said ' what about a Bisley ?' - I was going to do another French floatplane but you sidetracked me.

Well - here's the first flight ( just a spray job for the paint - waiting for Uncle to come back from his travels ) still lots to do but thought you might like to see it.

When I saw Bisley in the title line, I imediately thought of the famous old British shooting range of that name and the Bisley Colt named after that range.

I guess a new aeroplane will do though:jump:

Me too, Jagd! I'm thinking ... what the hell ... must have gotten the wrong forum ... then I scrolled down and was relieved that my computer has not started pre-selecting what it will allow me to access!

Baldy ... looks like another case of nice work on your part and can't help but look forward to more of the odd-ball, not-modeled-before offerings (like maybe some additional French bombers perhaps)?

Anyway ... thanks a whole lot!:ernae:

Baldy,
Holy cats, that looks SO good. I am now glad that I mentioned the Bisley. Thank you for puting in the time and effort on this. I could not have asked for a better outcome! Looks like 15 sqn SAAF will now be able to patrol the Med in authentic style.:applause::applause::applause::applause:
Many thanks,
Mike

The name Bisley was short-lived, it soon became the Blenheim V. Quite a significant aircraft in North Africa and the Med, a VC was won in one.

Nice looking Kite baldy!
Is that defensive or offensive armament under the nose? I'm not very familiar with this aircraft.

Blenheim MkV

Thanks for the encouragement guys - is Thicko the same guy as Thickosehaskel who did the MkIV ? I want his permission to adapt his .dp file - it'll save me a lot of work

the two mgs in the 'bathtub' were defensive

baldy

MkV

Don't panic - it's only a temporary lapse - I've got some 'ugly' pills in my medical cupboard.

Things can move on a bit now - I've got permission to adapt Kerry Livgren's panel and Thicko's .dp so that will save time. Thank you guys - much appreciated.

I can provide a few including that of the VC recipient towards the end of next week UT.
