Black flashing screen

So I have this problem with FSX, FS2004, and P3D v4.5

When I am inside the sim, I get a split second black screen, from time to time. This can happen during taxi, or flying. Either inside the VC or in spot view.

I wonder if people here have that problem also, and know how to fix this.

My system (running monitor on 60hz)

W11 Pro
AMD Ryzen 9 7900X
Nvidia 4070 Super (latest drivers)
32GB DDR5
2x2 TB SSD

I`ll try to record it, and post it here..

Thanks!

So I tried to record this, but it doesn`t show when I play the videoclip, really strange because it was there?

Could be a failing PSU or video card. Video playback is far less taxing on the PSU and video card than actually using a flight sim. Also, did this screen flashing start after a video card driver update?
I can't remember TBH. I'm going to download DDU and do a complete reinstall of the Nvidia drivers.

Hold on, monitor issues maybe?
agree there with @Priller , check the GPU output and monitor input ports for loose connections, and the cable itself for damages, wear & tear; also check your monitor hardware - if the issue is instead a failing GPU, it would most certainly be recorded in the screen video capture

Maybe you try a movie and see if that has the same problem? If so, I also should think about monitor problem(s).

I still haven't got this issues fixed. I bought a DisplayPort cable, to replace the HDMI cable, but that did not work. I've downloaded DDU and completely reinstalled the latest NVIDIA driver, no dice...
Going to install DirectX 9.0c and see if that'll make a difference...

DirectX 9.0c: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109 is a must!

tip: best to always run the latest DirectX 9.0c runtimes setup after installing the latest relevant Nvidia graphics drivers for your system- and do so time and again, after every Nvidia driver update; the graphics drivers do not necessarily come with the latest version of DirectX 9, and often install (/overwrite with) older versions of the DirectX 9 libraries
