Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

BFSs are all over the place and MSFS vendors are no exception. I just wanted to make everyone aware of what I think is a super good deal. The SWS RV-8 (rated on MSFS marketplace at 4.8) is on-sale for $9.99. You get a number of variants (2 blade, 3 blade, analog, digital, etc.) and dynamic registry. From my experience I can say that it is close to the real thing (except I find full flaps to be slightly exaggerated in the need for power). While looking at sales, I also acquired the Echo sound packages for the P-51 and F-18, but have not yet tried them. I'm also looking at other opportunities. Anybody else buying?

Burning Blue also has a 50% off sale on for those interested in the smaller detailed UK airfields.

It's great to empty out the credit card before Christmas, so much more for the dollar!
On a drive-by I picked up Goodwood and Old Warden for the price of one.
Lovely stuff I had always promised to get.

I ended up with Miltech's carrier package... And a full-price A-1 Skyraider to land on it.

I picked up a few more things - Chase Plane for 2020 and added to my FL scenery with KFIN.
