I never do night flights (almost never anyway), as I prefer to see where I'm going, lol. But since I did a bunch of scenery enhancements to airports in one specific region of British Columbia, I decided to give it a try. I flew from Hinton Jasper-Hinton (CEC4) to Revelstoke (CYRV), approx 115nm (give or take). I had thunderstorms and heavy clouds in the Jasper area on takeoff and a lot of lightning, plus a pretty steady 20kt wind out of the west so it was pretty bumpy along the route.

By the time I was about 20 miles out from Revelstoke, the weather had calmed quite a bit so the decent and approach to Revelstoke was pretty simple. The newly revised airport looked pretty darned good even in the dark. Thanks for the push to try night flying Henry, had a great time.
