Heading out on the bike in a couple of hours, going to ride over to the Memorial Day ceremony at 11:00 at the Veteran's Cemetary on Lee St. I do this every year, rain or shine, so do the vet's that participate. It is not enough to bring my two buddies back that are buried there (KIA in Nam), but it is my duty to be there.

This is what today is all about. It's entirely about the veterans who never came home. It's not about the ones who did. I've never had a desire to be off today and certainly never a desire to grill hamburgers on the grill. Though that's a personal thing and not a judgment on those who enjoy doing that with your families.

For me, it's all about remembering the guys who never came home.
