Thought I should share a shot of teh Virtual Cockpit for you folks. It is accurate to original drawings and a couple of restorations.:ernae:

Hi Stick,

an FsX version is still a ways off. I have to convert all my guage codes to the new XML format and rebuild a large part of the model to include the self-shadowing.

Hey Randy,

Developer to Developer, if you have the latest freeware SDK udpate (Accelleration), then your new XML parts list (I think thats what you mean by gauge code) will have all new needles and gauge codes in there for VC's. Just use Animation Manager and paruse through there and you'll see them all. Just have to align them up with their parameters, (calibrate them visually with existing metric graphics).

Thanks for the information Randy. I’ll wait patiently. She really looks lovely and the cockpit seems very much to represent the feeling of the era.

Okay folks..I've decided to let this sale run for 5 more days....after that I will be making this AC no longer available....I am switching to a different coding and want to keep my folders clean..This goes for the Floh too....hate do it,but, the removal of Aces has made me think long and hard on the future of limited poly and very limited texture aircraft with no future releases for the code..it was fun learning it....(NOPE), and it's time to move on to bigger, better, and more detailed pastures in my opinion.

As well the fact that my mother who refuses to Die after 3 heart attacks this year...lol has now relegated me to family head and permanent Bill Payer....ick....I preferred paying just my own by the way.. lol

Remeber folks...it's 4 distinct models and 17 Texture sets...plus full VC and pilot animations and accurate flight model....dirt cheap if you ask me.

Cheers

Randy, what will be of the FSX version? If I have to choose between an FS9 and FSX version my choice is clear, but between an FS9 version and nothing…

Randy, your plane looks absolutely amazing! :applause::applause::applause:
It will be hard to wait for the FSX version...
I have one question: do you plan to offer the FSX upgrade to existing FS9 customers or do I have to pay a little (or a big but I prefer a little) something more?
In other words, can I get out of my pocket my burning credit card or do I have to say goodbye to my bermuda short? :greenf:

Regards,

Stephan

Hi Stephan,

I'll be only using portions of the FS9 model for the FSX version....I can add quite a bit more detail for the X version and want to better represent the plane that way. If you have seen my Albatross DII for FSX thread in the "Dark Side" forum, you will see what I mean. I still wont be charging the ridiculous prices I've seen FSX planes going for though, somewhere in the $20USD range for the same amount of models and paints. I'll keep you posted on the progress as I get into it,I do want to finish my Albatros first though.

Ok Randy, I will wait (but it will be hard).
You can add me on your list for each of your FSX releases.
The first one will probably be the Albatross so don't waste your time on this post and GO TO WORK! ;)

Best regards,

Stephan
