BN-2 Islander 1.6 update posted

Not sure if your question is seriously meant or not, but no - you don't have to buy the package again to get the update. Just download and run the installer and select the "reinstall" option.

yes, was serious as there's no mention of how to update on main page; just new version 1.6....

V1.6

Went over to download v1.6 , and I need a "key number" to reinstall !

Purchased Bn-2 thru Aerosoft who have indicated in their paperwork that "no Product Key will be required for this product".

Seems like the update is available to those that purchased thru the Flight1 web site, which makes sense.

Cheers for now

I'm stuck in the middle. Helped test it for a couple years at Alphasim/Virtavia and we never used keys. Then as soon as it is released by Flight1 install keys are required. So still flying my pre-release version because I have no other way of updating it.

By the way, I updaded my alternate panel color repaints (gray, black, and tan) to include the panel when viewed from spot view. Available here if interested: http://www.mirage4fs.com/Alphasim/

That doesn't make any sense. Aerosoft is selling the Flight1 version. Surely there must have been a key to install it?

Purchased thru the Aerosoft download shop back on Sept 03/10 , method of delivery was direct download. If memory serves me correct the only number given was an order number to be used for future correspondance.

For Aerosoft purchases, go to Aerosoft's website and then click "your account" from the storefront. Log-in, then find and open the Purchase Order with the BN-2. Your download link should still be active and you'll see the available download is v1.60.

This little Alternate Panel Repaints option is great...I've been going through and loading what I think looks best with each aircraft repaint, and have been havin a blast, just checkin, lookin around over through windows, flyin each one on a 15 to 30 min takeoff and land...touch and goes...
Great Aircraft
Great Repaints
And this little jewel, panel repaints... WELL DONE Thanks Again fsafranek :ernae:

PS: I hope you get your version 1.6 squared away
