BN Islander VC screenshots !

I've flown up front in a couple of Islanders and can confirm that the nose wasn't visible..at least to me (5ft 11"). :)

Just a personal thing, but I'd like to see a lot more weathering on the panel and in particular the cabin as the examples that I flew in were pretty tired (after 30+ years of continuous use servicing the Irish Arann Islands).

Yep, I've flown as shotgun passenger in many flights in PNG and couldn't see the nose from the cockpit and I too would prefer a bit more weathering on the panel. At any rate, can't wait to get hold of her.

No, its an Alphasim product shipped by flight 1, Flight 1 will have had some input into how the final model should look / perform or criteira / standards they set for selling such items, but the model is 90% Alphasim so credit where credits due.

That's great news Michael, I am also pleased to see another British design from AS, once the home of all UK sourced payware.

To be honest, they've gone through hell to get this far, its intended as part of the new line up of super detailed models, ie not the usual quick and fast we all know from the past, I hope it does well for them and rewards the effort they put into it, they have responded to customer calls for more detailed models, this should be the first serious concerted step in that direction. I wouldn't expect Capt Sim or PMDG levels, but its billed as a big step over past stock is my understanding.

If it doesnt work then I dont know what will happen, they wont go back to the quick and fast easy models and at this sort of production rate they may well struggle, granted, three or four models like this in the shop should suffice but the change over period is going to be very rocky I think.
