Once again this has happened and even changing Fighter stations won`t prevent the CTD has any one a answer? It`s a clean by the book installation no add on`s.

More details needed. What exactly is the context in which the CTD occurs? That will help problem solvers otherwise the field of possibilities is large.

CTD in CFS3 BoB Free Flight

The CTD happens immediately the after hitting fly.the report APPCRASH CFS3,that`s it! iv`e applied data execution prevention to CFS3 in the system/advanced/DEP,IN Win 7.

Hi Alcanallen, is that hitting "fly" when starting a mission? I don't recall if QC mode involves using fly too.

If it's a mission the troubleshooting gets narrowed down to the aircraft, facilities, spawns, etc required by the xml document. Not sure if missing sound files, pylons, weapons cause a CTD.

Just to be sure, make sure the airbase as specified in the mission is called exactly the same thing in the global_layer file. This will apply to QC missions too. IIRC in BoB, not all airbases are entirely consistent between the QClocations, cutscenes and global layer files so you may just have a mismatch. To test, delete your uisel (the one in the AppData folder, NOT in your root instal folder) and restart and try to fly from a different airbase.

Solved

The airbase was ok but i found a strange aircraft in the axis lineup,changed to a me109 and now it`s as good as gold.
