Bomber Command at War: the Phoney War
This mission pack (2 missions) is based on historical events and real missions. It is designed for ETO V1.40 or higher.

It is rather unknown that aviators have been buisy during the Phoney War and Bomber Command is no exception, flying many different missios types from it's bases in England. Many crew members payed the highest price the early mistakes of high command.

It has been submitted and will be available within several hours.

What amazes me is that after seeing the tight bomber streams of the later war, that in the early war each aircraft used to take off and them make their own way to the target to bomb it.

And there was MUCH Rejoicing..

BRAVO, I can't wait to wreck some British Bombers..
I like wrecking British bombers..
Thanks Led Zeppelin for these..
BRAVO..:salute:

Great stuff LZ. It is good to see the Wellington is not forgotten.
I fly this one quite often, mainly in Bomber Command missions at night or Coastal Command over the Bay of Biscay but also sometimes in MAW. This masterpiece is one of my favorite CFS3 plane.

Welli well...

How to forget the Wellington from the Ground Crew site ? I started to learn more
about this bird with that nice job around the turrets, the radio desk and the Cockpit !
The different bomb load configurations and the different skins contribute to put this
plane as first interest. Thank you for it and thanks LZ to think about it.

Mission CTDs Near Target

"Bomber Commant at War_40-04-21" crashes to desktop (CTDs) near the target. It has happened the three times I have flown the mission. Any ideas on how to fix this?

This issue has never been reported before.

Are you in ETO or stock CFS3? These missions are for ETO.

Are you flying in the correct era?

Also, check in your facilities folder for file w40_aa_20mm.xml . Normally, it is part of ETO package, this is why I have not included it in the package. If it is missing, it may be the cause of you problem.

LZ,Yes, I am flying in ETO, ERA 1. Yes, I have this facility and the other required facilities. I will delete the uisel file and try again. Do you have any more ideas? Thanks in advance.

Well, I don't really see what can be the problem. Facilities included in this pack are used in pther packs without problems. Did you tried to open the mission with mission builder?

With Notepad, open the following facilities:
LBS_Flak_HA_a.xml
LBS_search_flak_2.xml
w40_aa_20mm.xml

Check that all entires exists in the vehicule or building folder. If something is missing, this may be the cause of the CTD.
