Bombsights

Thanks for your help. :applause: I am slow but old. :wink: I got the sight to work in most cases, but have some more work to do where there are several "windows". I tried placing the bombsight window in the sequential place in the cfg. where there are several windows as stated before, numbered it sequentially, but it did not work. I will tinker a while. What is the purpose of the "angle" in the sight?
 
The angle will change the angle that your are looking at the ground at.
 
I know that! Does it affect the bombing or do you just pick an angle you are comfortable with and release when on target? I thought the angle used might depend on altitude, speed etc.

I am certainly not an expert in this category. Just learning how to implement sights in some bombers and use them. Many single engine A/C already have bomb sights in their panels such as some of The B24 Guy's overhauled A/C. There also some panels at

There is a dive bomb sight somewhere out there for a Stuka, I think.
