Boomer Fly'n

Bomber_12th

SOH-CM-2025
It's been far too long since I last got this thing aloft. Kermit Weeks currently has a Boomerang under restoration in Australia which will be the only true Boomerang flying in the US when completed, so I took a flight with Flight Replica's Boomerang around Kermit Weeks' Fantasy of Flight in Florida. Like flying a hotrod T-6. Hope you enjoy the shots!

Here are some photos from the last several months of Kermit Weeks' Boomerang being restored/built (obviously all new wood) at Matt Denning's shop in Australia.

There are also a great many other Boomerang projects currently under restoration in Australia (as many as 9-10 currently under restoration to fly):

At present there are two flying examples in the world (both based in Australia and both having been restored by Matt Denning), and one full-scale look-alike, built with all metal construction, based in Belgium (was based in California prior to being sold last year).
