I must say that if the car passed pre-race inspection, then any doubt should be granted to the team unless there is clear evidence of cheating.
Boyer was not predicted to even make the chase, but he did. He was not predicted to do anything once he was in the chase, but he did. It tends to look like NASCAR is rigging the final 10 races by disqualifying a car that passed inspection, but was from a team that doesn't belong in the chase. The other thought is that RCR has all three of his cars in the chase, maybe NASCAR is trying to prevent RCR from dominating the chase. As for NASCAR favoring Jimmy Johnson, to do so would turn off a great number of fans. Many of us are tired of the Cup series being the Jimmy and Chad show. I'm sure Jimmy's fans would like to see him win five in a row, but would they be as happy if NASCAR rigged the series in order to give him that fifth trophy? I doubt it.
