Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

'Bowyer Appeal Denied'

Yeh it's all BS,the car was inspected prior to the race and it was ok,Nascar doesn't want anyone but Johnson or Gorden near the top of the points. It,s getting so shady that I'm about to quit watching any of the races.

I must say that if the car passed pre-race inspection, then any doubt should be granted to the team unless there is clear evidence of cheating.

Boyer was not predicted to even make the chase, but he did. He was not predicted to do anything once he was in the chase, but he did. It tends to look like NASCAR is rigging the final 10 races by disqualifying a car that passed inspection, but was from a team that doesn't belong in the chase. The other thought is that RCR has all three of his cars in the chase, maybe NASCAR is trying to prevent RCR from dominating the chase. As for NASCAR favoring Jimmy Johnson, to do so would turn off a great number of fans. Many of us are tired of the Cup series being the Jimmy and Chad show. I'm sure Jimmy's fans would like to see him win five in a row, but would they be as happy if NASCAR rigged the series in order to give him that fifth trophy? I doubt it.

I'm sure they could care less, second place is first loser IIRC the average 'fans' attitude.
Winning is all.
