Greetings guys and gals,
Have need for some assistiance- have error- generation of quick combat mission failed- anyone kn ow what causes this. any help greately appreciated

Rmalone,

It's likely an error caused by the fact that you have more than 100 aircraft (including multiple skins / repaints of one aircraft) in your aircraft folder. In that situation it causes a failure of quick combat, mission builder, and the "info" screen in missions.

To fix, you'll need to reduce your plane limit to below 100 first, either by creating another install, eliminating some aircraft, or using Martin Wright's AcMan to create a separate hangar for the extra planes.

Have you added anything new? I know this is a hackneyed response but a improperly aliased sound file will cause headaches also. Check your new additions.

Found it

Thanks for the replys- but it wasn't over the plane limit- I had a f4 phantom that found its way into the wav folder under the addon folder-old age you know- Thanks again guys
