Brake Adjustment Question

Several of my aircraft seem to react a bit too aggressively when I apply the brakes at medium to high speed...They really take a nose dive toward the pavement...What is the adjustment value in the .cfg file that I could decrease to correct this? Thanks,

Steve in Kansas

I can't speak for FSX but in FS9, the following section defines the braking attributes.

[brakes]
toe_brakes_scale = 0.64
parking_brake = 1
differential_braking_scale = 1.0

Reduce the toe_brakes_scale= parameter until you find it to your liking.
Essentially, 1.0=100% and .64=64% of total available braking

It also may be a matter of the parameters for the nose gear..... Too soft. Milton is also one of the real experts in contact point geometry.
