Any Recommendations -Guinness ?

Not a real big fan of American beer anymore as I think the flavor has fallen off over the years . (Although I've certainly drank my share over the years LOL). I friend of mine had me try a Guinness a couple of weeks ago and I forgot the name now but it had a good flavor . I may be converting !

Any recommendations ?:guinness:

Ah , A Guinness with Fish and Chips . Now I could easily get use to that .

Harps is another good British beer. Its a golden colored beer, I 'think' it may be a Lager as well. Not sure. Thicker then most average American beers.

I haven't had a single beer this year...but I am developing a hankering for an ice cold bottle of George Killian's Irish Red Lager or Samuel Adams Boston Lager....maybe a beer from the Lake Erie microbrewery. I am not a drinker, but I do like a quality, full body beer every now and then. Have been wanting to try Affligem Triple, a Belgian abbey beer that is brewed to the same recipe used by monks since the Dark Ages.

You guys do realize that Guinness isn't british at all, eh?

I for myself prefer Kilkenny over Guinness.

My favourite tipple....

Guinness has a few 'Flavours' : Original, Draught and Red, red is from roasting before fermentation or something, its a deep deep red and tasted kinda nice to, and now is the year of Guinness' 250th birthday why not try one? :icon_lol: aaah Spitfire Ale, another nice tipple.:jump:

I'm living in the land of Guinness.....and never touched it,tbh. Aparently it's ideal for pregnant women (in moderation!!)due to it's high iron content.
Me?...I prefer a Bud :icon29:...oh....and a nice malt whiskey:sleep::icon_lol:
