Bug at Chipilly airfield.

Everytime I come to a stop after landing I find my tail sunk deep into the ground. Bloody rabbits.

Siggi, the field types are the same as others, so seems odd. Maybe the craft is doing it? Try coming in slower?

I've seen this before in P2 esp. flying the Sop 1 1/2. It was due to landing too hard and tail skid breaking.

I land at Chipilly the same as I land everywhere else, very gently. It's not happened on any other field. It's not the tail-skid breaking off, the tail is down in the ground more than half way up the rudder.

If it's not traceable as a fault don't worry about, it doesn't cause any problems, just looks weird. Just thought you should be told about it is all. :)

No worries, as I say we have a few airfield models the same so if it's a broken it's the same elsewhere (maybe it is). We'll look anyway. Cheers Siggi.

On a related note...I can't drive my Ford anywhere...the back tyres keep getting stuck in the Mud! ;)

My bad I think. I've been in the habit of pulling back on the stick to use the elevators as brakes. I landed on my last mission and didn't do it and the skid was there, tail not in the ground.

I wonder why the fitters never said anything?
