??Bush Pilots??

Alaska here. The east side of Anchorage is a major flightpath for aircraft transitting the area. Anywhere you go just look up and theres a bush plane. Heaven! LA

That would be us. Lots of traffic around here in central Manitoba. First Nation Air in Gimli hauling freight in C-46s and DC-3s, There is going to be a lot of fuel and building supplies airfreighted into the nothern reserves as the Winter Road system only lasted 1/2 as long as usual. Northway Aviation in Arnes with Otters, Islanders, and C208 do a lot of lodge flying. Every day brings something new. Fire season brings the CL-215s back to Gimli along with their birddog C-310. The Selkirk float base to the south of me has 20-25 floatplanes based out of there most of the summer.

Rob do you have any pics of those C-46's and DC-3's by chance? Manitoba needs some attention in the sim.

It is great fun sitting at the DOT building watching traffic on Lake Hood/Lake Spenard. A friend has a C185 there (floats in summer, wheels/skis in winter). He uses it to get others interested in flying sometimes. This year he was a member of the Iditarod Air Force (run supplies and transport dogs/people as need be). It is all quite interesting.
