By Your Command.... Old School!

Got some toasters cobbled together....
If they're so smart, why does it take three of them to fly a Raider(in straight, predictible lines?!)?
They run on Vista? BSOD on all the MFD's?

LOLOLOL.... :costumes:

Love it...

Looking great Tim.

If I understood right, this is from the original 1978 Galactica serie right ? So far I have only seen the 2004 serie, which I really enjoy a lot. Maybe I should take a look at the old one as well...

It might be tough going from the new series to the old. I grew up on the old series, was a huge fan, even had a colonial warrior uniform when I was 15. Storyline between the two is similar though which is good. The cast in the original was superb, Lorne Greene was a fantastic Adama and it's hard seeing Hatch in the role he has in the new series (he'll always be Apollo to me).

Took me awhile to get into the new series, but I finally got them all on DVD.

Man, that flight jacket was cool! I wanted one so bad. You could order them in one of those big SciFi magazines...

Lucky dude...

Bill

yep, there is where I got mine Bill and my Mom made me the rest to match, only wore it a few times, won a halloween contest in it though :redf:

I hope you saved it all Michael.

Tim it looks great.:applause: I've often wonder why they never did a BSG game. Star Wars has one and it's pretty good from what I've heard. Tho BGS would make a lotta folks very happy.

Don't forget the final season of the New BSG starts Jan. 16th

Isn't it more like part two of season four?

I'm curious how BSG will go on. Hopefully not like that frakking first part of season three. The whole New Caprica thing was way too unnecessary.

P.S: Speaking of starting series: Season eight of Scrubs is due on january 9th.

Probably 486 type CPUs and 640k of Ram...although this would be way more than most fourth-gen jetfighters have installed...

The uniforms are still available to buy. I remember seeing them on a website only recently.

See here... http://www.starfortressproductions.com/galactica.html

There are also lifesize replicas of both the original and current series cylons available for sale!!!

Heres the current Cylon.... http://www.sideshowtoy.com/?page_id=4489&sku=255

and the original (and best :) )........... http://www.battlestargalactica.org/cylonprelim.shtml

Love the old school Cylon but no price yet.

The new one sure would scare the living crap out of the mailman/woman having it set on the front porch. Imagine it set up to scare off thieves. They'd poop themselves to death.

And yeah, like I'm going to put down a $3950.00 non refundable deposit for a new $7900.00 Cylon. :costumes:

There were two motorcycles in an episode where the lead characters go to Earth and do a recon, (the bikes stowed away in belly compartments of the Vipers).

The COOLEST bikes you ever saw!!!!!

Anyways, about 3 years later, there is one for sale in Autotrader. The guy owned one, street legal, had all the stuff on it from the episode. I wanted that thing bad. Didnt have enough though, arrghh..

(Looked like it was turbine powered, had all this cool techno stuff on it).

For LH..see pic.
Those bikes were from Galactica 1980, NOT the best of the BSG series:isadizzy:
But the Cylons attacking Hollywood were cool. Universal simply comped Raiders over footage from their movie "Earthquake!" But it did look cool!

I had a Warrior Jacket too! And a casting of a Colonial Pistol.

I only ever saw the original series. I really dug the Cylons back then. Looking forward to playing with this space fighter in FSX!!
