FSX US Navy C-47 / R4D-5 "Que Sera Sera" Antarctic Explorer. This Navy Douglas R4D-5L was the first aircraft to land at the South Pole on 31 October 1956. The name Que Sera Sera (what will be will be) was a tribute to the title of a song sung by Doris Day in Alfred Hitchcock's The Man Who Knew Too Much. Package includes a modified C-47 model with radar nose, skis, and period Antarctic orange textures. C-47 Skytrain Exterior Base Pack required (C47BASEPACK.ZIP). By Manfred Jahn.

Thanks again Manfred - another Winner !!!!!!

FSX Douglas C-47 Skytrain On Skis. This package includes two models that complement the C-47 Base Pack, one with and one without the tail ski. The textures were painted by "Squirrel" and represent USAF 73191 in arctic rescue colors, as seen when it was taking part in the movie The Thing From Another World (1951). C-47 Skytrain Base Pack required (C47BASEPACK.ZIP). Models by Manfred Jahn.

Both are a great addition, especially to us bush pilots. :) Too bad the timing is a bit off for Alaskan/Canadian winter workouts. The good part is, as mentioned above, many repaints will be ready before the first snowfall in about 4-5 months. :)
