Good tail on shot of N410GV

As a side note, I didn't notice until seeing this on the Haegoland site.. Jim Tweto's personal 180 has the Haegoland logo, not the Era one.

180.jpg

His 180 paint currently does not have the Hageland's on the tail.
Not since the merger of Hageland's, and ERA.

That is an older pic is what I'm saying.

on the FAA registry pages the ERA planes are listed under the title as "ICECAP LLC trustee"..and it lists 69 aircraft..mostly C207s and C208s...but everything is there including the shorts N168LM

i found this on airdata...i know ya not supposed to copypaste but..ya know

and i am NOT claiming i took this pic.....

It would seem odd for him to have Hageland on the tail before the merger, since his company was Era and Haegeland was his brother's. Why would he have his brother's company on his tail...? I am not getting something here lol.

may not have been ON the show but it is one of theyre aircraft..its registered to the group and part of the 69-70 aircraft..there is a grumman g44 listed aswell

It was on the show, just not flying lol.

That is the very plane, N12373 in the background of this shot from the Greenhorn Ben episode.

Jim's company was not ERA. Jim started his own company back in the day, then joined with Hageland. Jim started with the 180 he still flies.
Frontier and Hageland's merged a few years ago, a short time later ERA was acquired.
Then the name was changed to ERA Alaska.

Isn't that a C172?

And what is this show, you're talking about?

Flying Wild Alaska. Discovery Channel. And N428ER is in fact a 172 but she was the plane I got my first pilots license in so the tail number is very near and dear to me.

aha, but not on our Discovery, here in the Netherlands I believe.

As for N428ER, don't you want it on a 172 then??

Meanwhile, work in progress:

the registration needs to be bigger, and then there's the tail...but looking good so far I think?
